Darla Nutter is the heart and soul of Home of the Sparrow. Here from almost the beginning, she played an essential role in bringing us to where we are today. We sometimes suspect that she has an encyclopedic memory, because she knows everything about Home of the Sparrow, and many of our supporters personally.
Spirit of togetherness
Originally from North Dakota, Darla held office management positions in the federal government as well as the private sector. She is a true family person, bringing the spirit of togetherness to Home of the Sparrow every day. When she is not planning, organizing or managing events at Home of the Sparrow, she loves to spend her time in a Kayak exploring waterways from Canada to the Caribbean mangroves, traveling the world, or with her family.
