Chelsea Melrath gets it – as our leading expert on trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), she has a special perspective on the challenges that many women in our programs face. Her own experience with losing a relative in a domestic violence situation drives her to support women to become self-sufficient, gain housing stability and independence.
Chelsea brings experience as a case manager working with mental health services for Child Guidance Resource Centers and she worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support and Personal Care Assistant for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. She holds a B.S. in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Kutztown University and she pursued her graduate studies in clinical psychology at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
