Home of the Sparrow's Holiday Gift Program

The women and mothers in our programs work incredibly hard to become stable and self-sufficient. They are on tight budgets, with little to no extra funds for holiday gifts and activities. Together, we can alleviate some of the stress, allowing them to focus on their professional development, education and stability. Please complete and return the 2019 Holiday Gift Program Donor Form by October 21. Deliver unwrapped gifts on or before November 25.

Every year, we help the mothers in our programs to make the holidays special and memorable for their children. Through our Holiday Gift Program, we are creating carefree moments for the kids, making sure they can have the same experiences as their class mates. There are many different ways to participate. Find out how you can bring holiday cheer to a family in need:

Holiday Gift Program

Adopt a family. We suggest spending no more than $100 per recipient. For example, you should anticipate spending about $300 for a family with a mom and 2 children. Organize a Collection. We’ll send you a list of needs but examples include laundry detergent, paper goods, kitchen supplies. Lend a hand at our annual family holiday party on Saturday, December 7th.  Make a meal to share, donate a book for Santa to give to a child, donate a small gift that a child can give to his or her mom, and/or volunteer to be an”elf” as many hands are needed that day! Be an angel and provide gift cards, winter coats, and other items our moms need.
