Decorate Your Door or Window For A Mission This Valentine’s Day
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Home of the Sparrow! We need you to make our 3rd Annual Decorating for a Mission #LoveIsHome Campaign a huge success!
- Timeframe: January 1 – February 17
- Time Commitment: 1 to 6 hours
- Location: Your home or office!
Responsibilities:
- Consider a donation of $25.00 (Our goal is to raise $10,000!)
- Decorate your home or office door or window with hearts (ours or yours – our goal is 8,000 hearts to represent the number of women and children we have helped since our founding in 1994)
- Hang a “Decorating for a Mission” sign to build awareness
- Email aleiss@homeofthesparrow.org your photo entry
- Post on social media with #LoveIsHome
- Challenge all of your friends on social media to join you
- Keep your group informed and motivated through Friday, February 17
- Encourage your friends to subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter so our mission reaches more people!
Goals for 2023:
- Build awareness for women in Chester County who are homeless or are experiencing housing insecurity
- $10,000 raised through donations
- 8,000 hearts visible in windows and doors
- 400 participants
Prizes:
- “First 100” individuals who email a photo will receive an exclusive HOS PopSocket!
- “Most Hearts” hung by a single entrant wins a $150 VISA gift card
- “Most Creative” entrant wins a $75 gift card to Éclat Chocolate in West Chester
