Back to School Success!

Thanks to many generous donors and volunteers Home of the Sparrow’s Back to School 2022 program was a big accomplishment! Preparation for the program started in June when 60 donors signed up to purchase brand new book bags, lunch boxes, clothes, and shoes for each child. Many local companies, churches, schools and other organizations held supply drives to supplement the school supplies needed for this program. Twenty volunteers helped to sort, organize, stuff AND deliver the supplies to 53 families, serving 110 children.
The Back to School Program is an integral part of what we do at HOS. It gives children the confidence and joy to walk into school with all they need to succeed. We are so proud of this program and for our supportive community of volunteers and donors who make this program possible. We are truly better together!
